"Show me the sound" is an artistic team of four graduand students of Metropolitan College of Athens, in the field of Music Technogogy and Production [BA(Hons)]. On January 2025 we brought our project "Άκου να δεις" ("Listen to hear") to life by organising and hosting the art exibition "Beyond Silence" at Michael Cacoyiannis Foundation.
"Άκου να δεις" combines field recording, music creation and photography. We created soundscapes using field recordings that all took place in Attiki, blending in musical elements and sound design in post production. We gave those soundscapes to two photographers without file names and without any aesthetic reference or required technique. They photographed what they felt just by listening.
